KOASTAL plans to establish an algae farm in Malmö or Saltö fjord, both located in Lysekil Municipality and stakeholders are hereby invited to participate in the consultation.

We have identified two potential sites that would provide suitable conditions for cultivation. Alternative A is located north of Gunnarsskär in Malmö fjord, which is also a Natura 2000 site. Alternative B is located in Saltö fjord, between Skogskär and Valholmen. The facility will cover an area of 3 hectares at maximum capacity, and the permit application an area of 8 hectares.
